For all you guys that run roar rules it says any treaded tire that fits the vintage wheels. Are your tracks allowing hpi and is there other tires that tracks are letting people run to replace to the protoform tires since it seems there is no replacement in sight .

Oh no. No replacement in sight? Did they stop making PF tires?

USVTA Batteries - is there an update to the rules about batteries coming because the technology is getting away from just regular LiPo chemical make up and everyone is making higher voltage batts?
Thanks and God Bless,

Default Vta body

Hi all, Iíve read through some of the post in here. I was just curious what body people like and why. I have only ran the Camaro body. Thinking about trying something different. Any info on what different bodies will do will be much appreciated.

Does anyone know if we can register for the USVTA Southern Nationals over the phone and pay when we get there?

Apex has plenty of room for racers so I doubt they sell out. I pulled the race up on rcsignup and it shows (615) 851-1876 (Myron). I'd give him a call this evening but I'm sure he'd be ok with that.

I only have 2 preferences when it comes to my VTA race bodies.

1. Is it a one-piece body?
I don't want to have to attach body pieces or spoilers after I've painted the body.
McAllister and Protoform have good options here

2. How much does it cost?
I'm going to eventually wreck with this car so there is no need to spend a fortune.
McAllister bodies are less expensive (but have less fine details compared to others)

I believe that all the bodies handle well enough to win a big race with the right setup and driver. Choose any body you like and go have fun. I will leave the debate about which body is the "best" to the experts.

itís for a 700 but I will transfer it over to it . A lot of the setups seem to work or should I say shock setups are universal.
