You can try the magnetic body mount or order new front post.

I have yet to find a longer body post that fits in the hex on the TC7.1 bumper, so I just used some longer pan car mounts. I don't really like the solution, but it is the best I have found so far. I don't think magnetic mounts would work in racing, but if you just want a car to cruise around streets and parking lots, then they would probably work.

Good Luck

This might be a simple solution for you.. Tamiya has a Body post extension kit. I bought one awhile ago and never used it for my TT cars. The part number should still be good

Just lift the post. Remove the post from the bumper, add 6-7mm of shims wide enough to cover the hexes, find a screw that is 6-7mm longer than the original and bolt it all back together. Iíve ran mine like that from day one and never had an issue.

What do you guys recommend for a battery? There's a lot of options out there and don't want to overkill. Gotta have 5mm connectors.
