Wish I could come up, but I fortunately the ability to travel eludes me.

I hope the USVTA class remains strong, but only time will tell.

As far as contacting the track owner and regain 3 director, I have, and gotten answers, but ones I believe are very weak.

I don't want to throw the Reg 3 director under the bus. I know him and he is actaully a great steward of the hobby and took a job that is usually a thankless one.

I just think that things could have been done differently and that the racers at the track weren't included in the process.

It's just disheartening becaus I want to support my locksmith track, but ROAR is making that exceedingly difficult.

End rant. I will no longer mention this race. Back to USVTA programming

On that note, my TC7.1 is on rails today.

Don't blame ROAR or any of their representatives. They are only doing what the majority of the racers want. We can point out all we want what the unintended circumstances are going to be (and Lord knows I've done plenty of that) but the racers are going to get what they want.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled whining...

I'll start When are the new Protoform tires coming out????

Oh, hi Dale!

Just getting into VTA. What offset wheels do I need to be running?

Those would be the ones listed in the USVTA rules. Several different designs but all the same offsets. 0 front and 6 rear.

Here's a link to the rules, specifying all the requirements.

Are the new tires (if available) legal for the Summer Slam?

FYI I have several sets of VTA tires (Unopened and still in the original packaging) I've been hoarding just in case I would get a chance to run VTA again here in TX. Since VTA is not on the agenda for the ROAR Nats here in TX, chances are slim I will ever get to do so again. So I decided to let these go for what I paid for them. Please PM me if you are interested.

(I realized I can't paint, it will get destroyed, and I'd rather deal with a semi-fade than the mess it was before I "fixed" it )
