ROAR VTA rules are 1450g
original weights were NOT 1550. 1550 only became the class weight when everything switched to 25.5. I'd have to dig up the old rules I have on my laptop, but the 1550 is relatively new

I paid $40 for the trackstar in my F1, got a deal, and overpaid?

Paying $90 for a motor that everyone has and won't go obsolete any time soon requiring replacing has value. Playing the motor lottery sucks big time. Go work on your setup, or run another class.

10 min mains? No. No. You can't even get your heart going in 10 minutes! It's impossible to break a sweat in 10 mins. We are running 15 min mains here in Texas. That's right, it's fifteen. 15 is the key number!

but F1 and the trackstar is a 21.5 NOT a 25.5

so again where?

and I clicked the 25.5 for $38 on the speed passion site and it said $40 for shipping so really not $38

To state the obvious as well.....there are no ROAR rules for 25.5 motors yet. So there is nothing to even say that 25.5 motors are the same from company to company other than number of turns. Do we really want to go down this road??? The Novak only motor rule is because they were the first to make the motor that size. Also with out any ROAR rules for 25.5 motors it would be like the wild wild west if it were open 25.5 motor rules.

I like this!

Another format I really enjoy is: the first qualifier is the only one, and qualifying is based on the single fastest lap, or fastest top five laps; then there are three mains, with final results based on points.

I thought rc racing was supposed to be about fun, what I've seen on this thread sounds like a bunch of old women bickering about little things so insignificant in the scope of life, I have not seen one positive comment. I'm done with this thread.

bye.

funny, you bring up most of this - and then when you get responses from the masses (not just the rule makers), you say a bunch of whining women.

but to us, you're the whining one - coming and saying 'please change the rules, I don't want to do this or that....'
