hey DD, I'll be there this weekend (like last weekend) to rep the VTA class. Hopefully we will have a larger turn out.

Cool! If we can get just 1 more person to show up on Saturday then we can have a VTA class.

TC4 longer front body posts? pop a 1/4 inch spacer in between the stock post and plate with a longer screw, or does anyone know if AE part 8818 fits nice and easy? stock posts are a little too short under the mustang body...

All - Thanks for your feedback on the motor/esc combo. Very helpful. Might decide to get the edge combo for an extra $40.

in the long run, it might be worth the $$...sometimes it don't pay to always buy the cheapest equipment out there - even when its from the same manufacturer

That's exactly what I'm thinking. It's already on the USVTA list, but you can't buy one yet.

the $40 is well worth the money just to get the ballistic which is rebuildable the bonus is the Edge speed control is included.

Maybe they should not allow it to go on the list until the company actually has stock to sell.

maybe...but maybe the 1st batch is already sold....and rd 2 is coming...but getting it approved is very much needed before its "out there" so ppl dont just "think" its legal...example...GTB2 Xdrive...

testing things before is better than waiting for ppl make mistakes and waste money

I dont see the need to withold it from the list just because its not available yet. Its tested its approved its on the list. If you happen to work in the SP factory (or is it Hobby Wing?) Then by all means sneak one out under your jacket and race it like you stole it. Which in this case you would have.

Not sure if I am stepping on any toes here. I have had a few PM's and a few emails about where I got the numbers and stickers for a few of my recent VTA bodies and logos.

I cut them using my plotter. I have been cutting number badges and logos for VTA racers here locally for a while. If you need some let me know. PM me for details so we don't clog this thread up with for sale discussions.

If this is a violation or not in the spirit of this thread, let me know and I will delete the post. Just thought I could add to the VTA thread and make it a bit easier for people to get rule compliant.

Here is an example of some recent numbers I did up. All in vinyl so there are just peel and stick. I can do them in multiple colors and different styles as well.

Those look really nice Mera'din. Something tells me any $$ you make will just go back into the hobby, right!
