Thanks for the help everyone. One of these days, I'll travel east for a race.
You should try a ARC 2013! I qualified 2nd out of 14 cars and ended up 2nd for first time out! Had a blast and the car was dialed.

I heard read it that way as well. But I thought they weren't clones, but perhaps even produced at the same place. Just two companies marketing them a bit differently.

A friend of mine bought a Capricorn at my track and we were able to compare. Looks similar at a glance but there are subtle differences. Both good cars but the Capricorn is still running taller shocks and a different main chassis than the ARC 2013. Parts are interchangeable and identical.

I must have lucked out and gotten one of the last ones from Tower - out of stock every where else I checked. From the sound of the rain outside, off-road will probably be cancelled today in San Antonio so I'll return to putting my "vintage" vintage Trans AM into current legal racing status for the Jan 4th race at Al's. Man I'm so looking forward to this, I turned down tickets to the Oregon Texas football game that day.

John why even bother waiting around for Al's race program to get back on track when Austin HobbyTown can totally fill all ur racing needs, only 64 miles from North Star Mall. We had 9 VTA's last Sunday. Racing starts at 1:00pm so theres really no need to hurry to make the road trip. Texas EOS VTA Champ will be in the house so if u have any questions this is the guy to ask. I myself have been looking forward to seeing his mad skills in this class. + if u should need anything at all we got ur back.

The rotors from other winds of novak motors are the same, are they not? My ballistic is kind of a dog and I was thinking of trying the rotor from my 21.5 or my older SS 13.5. Bo swapped cars with me and said, "Yeah your car is slow. You need more steering too." Then he proceeded to hunt me down while I was driving his much faster car. So what I really need are better skills, but you can't buy that.

John, you can run your Tekin in blinky mode. Granted, we would eventually like to see a USVTA legal ESC in there, but we're not going to turn anyone away! Come race with us 'til Al's is ready to run on the 4th. Would love to have ya...
