Hey Eric, April 2013?...SWEEEEET...Novak presents...cool...oh, for the Nationals, I was wondering if I could reserve a pitspot...

Hey Jonesy, I got your text...OMG...thats all I have right now..

The 2013 US VTA+ Southern Nationals in Music City, USA...you can glue your sidewalls...thats official for this event

Myron. I love how you just throw out randoms to try and break up the stupidity of some arguments.

As far as glueing sidewalls. I never have. I have never had a traction roll problem. If I have too much front grip I leading the amount of sauce I use.

Even at the southern nats as high traction as thst was I never had a traction roll problem.

I started racing VTA because its a great class, and at the track I run at contains one of the best groups of guys to race with in the U.S. hands down. I'm very glad that I got into this class enough to really like it before I ever found this thread because a 4 page B%@&*FEST on glueing the sidewall of a tire is about 2 pages less than par for this thread's course. Its sad how someone can ask an honest setup question on here and it sits idle for hours, but let something go up that can possibly be argued about and 4 pages flame up in less than 12 hours. I have never "preached" anything about the rules on here, nor am I using them to my advantage in any way. I'm one of the FEW people that takes the time to try and respond to the FEW questions that actually make it thru the arguments. I HONESTLY never gave it any thought because its never been an issue at any race I've ever attended. You honestly think I would have posted it if I didn't think it was legal? In no way do I ever try to race illegal. I run full weight along with every other rule in every club race, even tho there is no tech ( kinda like this thread ).

While you guys were beaching about rules I was at the track working on setup. Knocked .13 off best lap time ever and ran about 20 laps all quicker than my previous best.

I'm starting to notice a pattern in my viewing of this thread...

1) I'm only here when i hear about some kind of drama.
2) There is always a common troll in the group.

Just saying.

Maybe I can prepare in advance for the 2014 Snowbirds.
Since you were gone for four days Pete I'll repost this

Hey, if you're that close to Wisconsin, you're not that far from the World Famous Brat Stop.
Yep, we are quite close to the Brat Stop and pretty much all of us have drained a pint there from time to time. Of course, that is only WHERE we are. WHAT we are - is the center of the usvta universe.

That's almost, ALMOST, enough to make me like mopar.

I don't know what you mean by lightening it up. 4 pages or so of adults arguing about the application of glue to toy car tires is pretty darn entertaining in my book.

I think the more important question would be ...Whose instant glue is the best???
