I am also running an Edge 2s in a 17.5 TC4 and had the same problem. Just like you, went through all my esc settings then went to the radio and found nothing. Tried different motors and same thing. Reset the esc to the transmitter and have not had the problem since. Guess something was out of wack the first time out.
