Default Titanium screws

I recall seeing somewhere that titanium screws will react negatively with aluminum parts if used together - like using titanium screws to secure aluminum bulkheads, etc.

Is there any truth in this, or is Titanium okay to use in place of the stock, steel screws?

I’ve used ti screws on my pan car for years now with no noticeable ill-effects. I have them threaded into alum. parts, alum. locknuts, steel locknuts, and that AE composite material. If any “reaction” takes place, I haven’t seen it.

I have 'em on my 1/12th scale and TC3 and there is only 1 problem so far.

On the 12th scale, the screws come loose on the bottom of the pod plate easier than I like. I started to use purple loctite(small fastener) on the screws very sparingly and it is fine now.

i heard people having problems on the xray (not sure if its just their coating or something) but they get stuck if you tighten them up to much (unlike steel whre they just come loose with a bit of force)

but i heard people smearing the screw thread in a bit of diff lube and this solved it..never used Ti screws tho so i can't comment really.
