Questions?? Dive, Anti-dive - kickup, Anti-kickup?

Anyone have experience with Dive, Anti-dive - kickup, Anti-kickup or can explain their understandings of how they work or when to use them? When not to use them? Advantages, disadvantages? Carpet, asphalt/tarmac?

I've read the manual's interpretation but would like a racers perspective

Would appreaciate some insights about the various roll center setups

Preemptive thanks

Anti-Dive;
I recall at a couple of high grip tracks that anti-dive was being recommended, this was to stop so much weight going forward at corner entry to prevent the car from hooking at corner entry, it helped smooth it out a bit.
Haven't felt the need on anything else.
I have seen a few team driver setups where it's been used in small amounts as it effects caster by reducing it.

Anti-Squat;
Almost the opposite effect, Is used to help keep the weight forward, particularly on power. Helped with steering etc but lost a little rear traction.

Those are the only two I've ever tried and I haven't used either for some time.

Yeah, that all sounds about right. I run a bit of anti-dive in my car because it had a tendency to hook on high grip track. I had been running a lot of pro-squat which I seem to like but I'll be experimenting with a bit less the next time out because my setup progress has started go show signs of loose entry. Pro-squat does exactly what it says, but under deceleration is also allows the weight to come forward more easily.

Thanks guys

I'll watch for when that setup change might work for me

One of the guys at my track uses on his TC6 0B - 1B for both front and rear bulkheads which I think gives a little anti dive and anti squat
