Default Check the new BSR web site!

John at John's Bsr tires has a new web site. These are the same tires Stephen Sobottka used to win the US indoor champs! If you are looking for a great alternitive in on road or oval racing tires check out BSR!

I have recently used the BSR foams for my Xray, and they are NICE! The rim is alot tougher than the jaco ones. Nice Website too.

BSR tires are the best. I found this out at the USTC race #4 last year at Trackside. I tried a set of BSR's and gained .1-.2 sec per lap over the jacos I was running. That got me hooked.

BSR carries 1/12th on-road, and electric touring in all the popular compounds as well as 1/10th scale oval (foam and capped) and nitro touring tires.

Good combos to start with from BSR are purple/gray or purple-orange/gray for 12th and Dbl Pink (XX Pink)/orange and Dbl pink for Touring. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I was wondering how you liked those. Good to see it worked out for you, the radio is still working great.

If the 1/12th BSR foams are anything like the 1/10th ones, i need to try some.

Both 1/12, touring, and 1/10 tires use the same foam and same compounds.

I am glad to see everyone enjoys the web site and the tires!

If you have any questions feel free to ask

How does the wheel stiffness compare to the Jacos and TRC's? Is the foam the same foam as the Jacos (as the Parmas use the same foam as TRCs)? Also how wide is the wheel, and is there any offset built into it? I like the Parmas because they are true 28mm and are offset so they don't rub on the shock ends on certain cars. Jacos are 29mm wide.

BSR's are on the Jaco rim. The foam however, while similar, is slightly different. But, a setup that works with jacos will usually work even better with BSRs. Last time I measured a wheel, it was 28 mm.
