Default A Battery ?

alright im running a Team Losi XXX-S in stock foam using a monster stock and hurricane gp3300 and at my local track, i am running a 1.00 rollout just to be able to keep up, but in the last minute to minute and a half the battery falls off and stays there until the end of the race but i lose a good half to full second on my lap times. im using a integy 16x9v6 at 6amps and 20 amp discharge and novak smart tray with a .9 cut off. i was wonder if there is anything i am doing wrong or can do to correct this problem.

Is the motor getting real hot? Maybe a weak cell dumping before the others?

Not sure what roll out value that is? Is the Inches? or mm?

One of three things is wrong:
-battery back gone south
-gearing is way off(what are others running?)
-motor is crap although it would be crappy right from the start so this is unlikely your problem.

Sometimes gearing can be tricky, if u have a heavy finger you may not be able to gear the same way a smooth conservative fingered driver does.

with GP3300s you should not be dumping in any stock class. We run stock rubber and 19Tfoam and gear to our hearts delite without dumping.

Bad choice of words, I just meant a weak cell that goes soft

the roll out is in. and that is close to what everyone is running at .95, but if i run that i cant keep up and it does the same thing. in order to keep the batt. consitent thru the whole run i have to run aroung a .80 for roll out.

One battery pack or all your battery packs?

1.00 inch = 24.5mm

That rollout would be fine even on a small track.

It's actually 25.4mm, but who's counting?

What ESC? I have never heard of dumping in stock sedan since 3000s came out, i would think that anyone running 3300s should be safe these days.

Is it possible your ESC is acting up? possibly overheating?

Is it possible your being too agressive with the throttle? perhaps not being smooth on the power delivery?

That roll out does look ok

Is your gear train nice and free?

How many miliamps are you getting into your cells when you charge? should be more than 3700 if you are equalising your sells first.

Have you tried a different motor? Not just cut and rebrush.
