Drifting and racing is like the skiing/boarding or boats/PWC issues that are dealt with in the mountains or at the river...they're all really "incompatible" uses.

The problem is that everyone pays the same fee to use the facilities...and everyone is allowed to use the facilities. SoCal even sells drift car kits 50 feet fom the track.

A real professional would have asked the drift guys (nicely) to chill out for a little while or made some other arrangements with them.

Any real racer, let alone a "pro", would have apologized for breaking someone's car badly...even in a race.

If this is even partly true...it's definitely an "R/C party foul". It would be nice to hear an explanation from him...

Alright, this thread has gotten mostly out of hand. Reading into it more, I don't think the original poster's intent was to have 60 posts of ripping on Chris, nor on drifting.

Let's just chalk it up to an accidental incident and leave it at that.
