Default TOP REBEL F1 Prototype

Hello, I have seen some photos of this new F1 at TOP Racing web , It has Associated Pancar 1/12 front axle style just as the Corally F1 SL, I donīt know if this car also uses Pro ten tires.

This is a stupid move on their part. That front end won't fly at just about any track.

As long as it 190mm its legal right?

Wrong way to go with this....
I have a hard enough time finding places to run my 103.
Another car that will bring more confusion to the class...
Maybe we ar jumping the gun.....it is still a prototype right?

As much as I dont like(Hate!!!) corally style front ends on F1's, I cant see it being any worse than the FGX which doesn't conform to the solid axle rear end design of 95% of the F1's out there.

"As our Rebel F-1 prototype just happened to swing by HK for a technical meeting,
we figured why not test it out at this race.
Penny Yip TQ'd and won the F-1 class followed by Frank Ng.
We are refining its design after this race.
Based on final testing in Japan, we'll release it for production.
We'll disclose the 3D drawings once the final design is confirmed."

It seems they are re-evaluating final design.

I don't know....at least the FGX still looks very realistic (actually more realistic than straight axle cars). The Corally and this car don't even look all scale due to the arms. Thought the whole point of F1 class in RCs is more scale looks. Plus I would imagine it would have quite a bit of an advantage over F104s, etc.

We can hope. All it really needs to have the upper A arm extend under the body.

I like it. I would get it just to ruffle the feathers of the F1 purists at the track.

I would like it even more if it used regular 1/12 or 1/10 pan car tires. Less tires to have to get, the better!
