Default TRG111 190mm F1 - First Pictures

Hi guys! I just received a pre-production TRG111 190mm F1 to run next week at the Carpet Nats in Dallas.

We are hoping to start importing this chassis and the rest of the TRG product line soon at Reflex Racing.

A couple of really cool features on the car:
-Battery can be mounted longitudinally (stick and shorty) or transversely (shorty only)
-Adjustable caster and camber front end
-Inline or trailing front steering
-186mm wide: The car is built wider, so the front end does not generate excessive scrub from wider spaced out front end at the wheels or axles. This generates a more precise and quicker reacting front end, while keeping the benefits of being a wider car.
-Cantilever damper tube set-up: Much more consistent damping than a single damper.

Below are some images.

I'll see if I can get Tyree Phillips to come on here and offer his experience with the car since he too represents TRG and has been running the car for a short time now.

Very nice Cristian. How do you remove the battery? Can you say how much Reflex is going to sell it for?

To remove the battery, you must remove one of the side posts.

Nothing is set in stone as far as pricing as we have not set any distribution for it yet. We still have to talk to TRG and figure out if, when, how and the terms of the relationship.

What I can say is that we are going to try to import some of the TRG items, if not all of them for re-sale at Reflex. We will try and keep you guys posted.

Fred, thanks. TRG had made me aware that Tyree was running the car out in the West Coast. I'll get to go test it this weekend to Dallas in order to prepare for next week's carpet Nats. It would be nice to see if he has any suggestions and/ or tips.

You have no idea why some of my f1 have not run yet.

Now back to the TRG. Stop jacking Cristian's thread.

Honestly, I am not sure. I'll measure up an F104 when I get to the track and see if it is a possibility.

For 180 mm F104 you have the FS104WW carbon conversion with front roll damper.

This prototype is a very nice car too!!

That front end looks to be bullet proof. Rear wing doesn't look right though.

What body are you going to mount up for the race? You should look for a Tamiya front wing. The TRG ones do not last long and they tend to sag and drag in the corners.
