Default Motor Timing Explained - For Blinky Racing

The mechanical timing can be changed on the motors for blinky spec racing?

I'm running a Revtech 17.5 w/Tekin RS Pro.

How do I read the timing settings on the motor?
What does changing the timing do?

Pics would be super helpful here...thanks!

1) Mechanical timing is allowed, just no software timing or boost

2) See this link for the timing marks.

3) More timing = higher revs, but at a loss of torque.
