Dave Johnson grabbed TQ at the Fall Fiasco at Lou's Speedway in London Ontario Canada with his Wildfire in Stock 17.5. Unfortunately he smoked a motor in the Main.

Default VBC Wildfire

Just order a Wildfire. LHS wanted to know if it was 190mm or 200mm for ordering GT body. Any suggestion on body? Planning on running local club race - GT class either 21.5 or 17.5 GT.

It's a 190mm

If you run a 200mm body just get the hpi +5mm offset wheels, that is if they don't run a spec tire like jaco or sweep for the class.

Default Spare Parts

What spare parts are recommended to have on hand?

Are you better off just buying a second kit for parts?

Newby needs direction

Planning on running local club race - GT 21.5 or 17.5

Steering knuckles and C-hub's seem to break the most often, Although i have broken a front arm as well. I would keep at 2 sets of each. Maybe more depending on your track and if anyone else would have spares you could use.

I've broken C-hubs at least 2 times now... and not even at speed, I'm talking 30-40% speed going through a 180. I replaced mine with Xray 4 degree hubs for now.

Does the xray c-hubs fit without modifications or other parts (is it a direct fit)?

Thanks.

Fit into the A-arm is a bit tight... I recommend shaving down the A-arm a bit to allow freer movement.
