Typically cells will have a fluctuation in voltage, runtime and IR. We use the best cells for our matched loose packs. The next grade down goes to our matched stick packs and then stick packs.

I heard straight from the Trinity OEM department that they (trinity)are going to be the importer/distributor of the IB3600 cells in North America, not SMC...

I just ordered 18 unmatched IB3600's... 3 sets of 6, shipped to Canada, for $104 USD (inc shipping)...

I can't use even a 10% difference a 'matched' pack might give me, so for now... I'll stay on the cheap side.

Mebbe I should buy a pile more before they go up as they gain popularity...

Doesn't Trinity say that about every new cell?

All we know we are the Exclusive agent for the IB3600 and have the cells in our facility and were in the process of matching them.

I guess that will be up to the manufacturer and it seems that Danny has already gotten the jump on Ernie.

GO DANNY! Please tell me that you are going to keep this locked up! Trinity does NOT need any help with their monopolistic practices.

Yes the popularity goes up so does the price. Right nefore the RC18T came out. I could get GP1100 for 1.75 per cell. Now they are 2.25.

That 3600 cell shrink wrap looks really good.

MatynD will you be able to cycle those on a Turbo charger of some type just to see what kind of numbers you have? i would be interested in what you come up with unmatched.

One other thing to think about. These high milliamp cells have high volts the first 200 to 300 seconds. Most tracks I have been to run for 5 min. So in stock that would be fine. Also in mod if you need some more speed drop a lower turn in. With 3600 you will be fine for all classes.

And when you do lock it up, make sure you send the “Big T” the leftover cells at twice the price…
