Default VTEC SC-3700UP (new competition cell)

Thought it would be better to make a new thread than discussing this in the "Super Cell - GP3700" thread...

Attached you'll find the PressRelease for this cell, as well as the datasheet in my next post.

When will they be available to us?
The numbers at the picture on rczone are from which level pf the new batteries? (I guess you will have stage1, stage2, stage3)

@nnick: cells will be available from february, we just started with the production batch yesterday.

can't really answer which "level" the cells shown from the dhi-cup are going to be. these were cells from "pre-production" and production might be a little different again.
but i'd think that we're going to have much better cells then the ones we had there! so i'd think that this was "stage 2" as you called them.

We just went through the first batch of cells, we should be able to send out the first packs of VTEC SC-3700UP packs by early next week.

Performance of production is fantastic, there's a lot of cells in the 1.19 - 1.20V range on our machines while runtime is like 460 to 490s.
Looks like a good cell... especially when you'll see their retail price...

The only problem with getting these cells is you cant use them in any ROAR events til next year....GP's will still be the dominant cell until someone pulls off the roar approval trick.

Wouldn't 20 amp runtime be in the 690-710 range for that capacity?

I haven't seen voltage that high on my matcher, but I have seen runtime almost that high before.

Looks like next year will be crazy with all of the new cells coming to our market.

Dude how could that be 20 amp numbers!
We are already getting 420 to 450 on gp 3300's @ 30 amp. Do you know about about battery numbers?
460 to 480 is right. What I have heared from my local battery guys at fusion the averager voltages have been 1.175's and and low ir's in the 2.0 to 2.3 rage.
this batteries will have punch and run time!

You can ALWAYS dump... They'll just find a way to make the motors faster which usually means more amp draw...

12th scale mod you can't rip it the whole race now and I venture to say that even with the new cells you still won't be able to...

But I'm all for new cells
