Note F104W is just a f103 when it comes to the tires.
I'm a little confused whether I will be able to adjust rear ride height as needed. I'm currently running my f104 prox1 wide with f103 rubber front and rear with wide front end and I'm to get the necessary ride height needed. I would like to switch over to the ultra. Would I still be able to get the same ride height adjustments if I do the conversion?
Thanks

You d still need the 103 pod to get maximum adjustment. Only difference really in the pods is the location of the axle.

If you are running rubber tires you will be ok. The large rubber tires gives you the adjustability you will need.

Finally ordered my Ultra today, Should have it by Wednesday and on the track soon after. I couldn't stand only having one F1 any more. Now I will make my F1R back into a narrow car.

Thanks!! Haha doing the same, 1 narrow car and F1ultra wide old school MP4 with rubber tires. It's so easy to drive that I will bring it as a 'show and drive' for anyone at the track that wants to try F1

So did anyone see the new Yokomo prototype 1/12 that won the Worlds a month ago? New layout looks VERY familiar

Looking good. My next project - the livery will be the same; FW14 on a wide track F103. Keep us posted on the shakedown, my F1 Ultra is on order. The F1R I have transformed my F104 - I'm pretty sure it will improve on my 103.

Monday shake down was a success. Car is fast. Me and Robert both ran Ultras, he is normally around a second a lap faster, I was within .2 last night. More on blog, but Ultra is sweet.

Love the Mansell treatments! I would drive those
Glad the Ultras are going well.

A buddy of mine drove my Ultra at the last race. First time ever driving an F1 and he wins the A-main!

Thumbs up

The F1 Ultra was ULTRA fun and (dare i say it) easy to drive once you learned your braking points.. Can't wait till the next round.

I have been bitten by the F1-bug.. Only question now is which EXOTEK flavor to buy.

F1 ultras where fast at round 3 of the Texas electric on road series on the carpet of Mike's hobby shop in carrollton. My ultra was unchallenged all day. Set TQ in round one and won the grueling 15 minute main keeping it up front from tone to tone. By the end I put the ultra over 10 seconds ahead of 2nd place and many laps ahead of everyone else. Texas tc also piloted his ultra very well bumping up from the b main and finishing 7th in the show. The grid was filled with trg, tamiya and one very fast rc shox car but the ultra came through victorious!
