Default Recommendations for 13.5 NR motor for Sedan...

The Reedy race is going to have 13.5 NR for it's huge asphalt track

Curious what 13.5 you guys recommend for Blinky

Most out here in Sedan run 17.5 NR so I have no comparison

Thanks

The Trinity RevTech is a good one to start with along with their D3. For outdoor asphalt, I have had good luck with the Checkpoint BL motors though good luck finding them (been discontinued). The Thunder Power motors should also be on your radar. If all else fails, you can always default to the Novak Ballistic 13.5.

Thunder power. Why? U can buy parts. You'll need parts as you'll be smoking motors to go fast.

$35 stator beats a $80 motor any day.

got that.
you're just not running enough gear

with that being said -- in boosted 1/12th 13.5 @ Snowbirds i got my TP 13.5 up to 220 degrees F without issue. doing that w/ a 2S power package doesn't work as well though...

Thanks for the input guys. I know the Reedy is coming up at my local track and there will be a 13.5 NR class offered. Also thought some of the faster guys here might might want to start racing 13.5 NR which would kinda leave the 17.5 NR class for those who wanted a "sportsman" class

Would be interesting to see

later
