Default Operating Temps...

At my last race, I noticed my motor felt a little...warm. So I hit with my IR Temp guage, the amature was in the 150s. There's a theory floating around the track that it doesn't get dangerous until 200. Any thoughts? By the way, it a Pro Tuned 19t Chameleon, in a Pro-4 on 6 cells, 43 tooth pinion, 98 spur...

43-98 That seams to be a bit overgeared with a 19turn

I recently stepped down to a 40 pinion, but I may go back when I use my slower, "qualifying heats" motor. Does that sound like it's running too hot? If so, I'll stick with the 40, since it really wasn't that much slower...
