You might be right. On the other hand, almost every battery matcher recommend disabling the trickle charge.

I dont have the 16x5BL (I have the v6). But according to the manual, the trickle charge on the BL is fixed at 150 mAh.

Basically, trickle charge after the regular charge, is overcharging the pack. That Indi charger pushes the pack far, with the VSEC charge, so chargin it further is something I wouldnt recommend.

From my own experience, I had a pack of Sanyo 3000 HV, which didnt last long. I had a charger wich trickle charged. The pack wasnt left on it a lot... The pack could have died for other reasons, but it's the only pack I've ever had, that lasted so short...

you're right cole.....

It was my bad......

To avoid trickle charging with the 16x5BL you should set the battery capacity to 50mA, then the software disable trikcle charging because 150mAh is too high for a 50mA batt.....

even for 3300 packs you can set the batt capacity to 50mA, this setting is only to able or disable trickle charging after peak....
