Default Voltage Threshold?

I just purchased a new Novak Millenium Pro charger and some new Integy Sanyo 3000HV packs. What should i set the voltage threshold at on this charger? Should I change the voltage threshold when the packs have a few cycles in them? Also, what amperage should i charge them at? I will be using them in stock and modifed touring. Also, what do you guys set the voltage threshold and amp charge rate at for 2400 and 2000 packs? Any info and help is appreciated.

I use the NiMH2 mode on my mill pro for my HV's, it works quite well. I charge all my packs at 5 amps and for NiCD I use 12mv/cell, or 72mv/pack.

i'm no pro, but i go with 10/cell 60/pack for nicads. the nimh mode doesn't have an adjustable threshold, i don't think. for charge rate:

2000's - 4.5a
2400's - 5.0a
3000's - 5.0a

but what do i know?

Wink

I charge my 3000HV's at 5.5a with a 70mv peak. I use them in stock.

James,

Here are the settings I use with the Millenium Pro

Sanyo 3000Nimh HV I use linear mode - 5 amps charge - Voltage threshold 12mv/cell (72mv per pack)

Panasonic 3000 Stock - Nimh2 mode - 4.5 to 5 amps charge

Sanyo 2000
Linear mode - 5 amps charge - Voltage threshold 14mv/cell
Reverse Pulse mode - 5 amps charge - Pulse 12ms - Voltage Threshold 14mv/cell

Sanyo 2400
Linear mode - 5 to 5.5 amps charge - Voltage Threshold 14mv/cell

Hope it helps,
