Lets see the birds, Hara will run there for the first time, you might have ur fine chance to take revenge...
where is the insult he was amused! big deal take it easy guys !

Oscar-No offense taken. It is just one thing that would be nice to see. By no means do I think I would of been more competitive at the race with different sauce. I am simply expressing my thoughts of other racers at the race. I think it would be a good idea to eliminate one more tire variable. I am sure the same racers will be at the top at the LRP Race. If Hara runs as good as he did the last time in Cleveland(his 2nd time at Cleveland...nto sure what year) he will be very hard to beat!! Like you said....Hara is the best!! It was great seeing and talking to you at the race! Take care!!

I find it interesting that there's pics of a new prototype Xray just above here, and people aren't talking about it, instead, they're bickering like women about something someone said.

I think the only way to stop this kind of domination is to have a controlled handout motor......LOL.......If you don't have a V2......then it's gonna be.....booo hooo!

i think all team drivers have equipment good enough to win.....

at a high level race such as DHI Cup and many others the LUCK and TALENT are the keys to winning......

coincidence or not, and it's just my opinion, team orion/ peak sponsor the best drivers of the world......when you have QUANTITY and QUALITY walking together you lose only by your own fault.....

What a splendid saying.

And how true too.

The car vs driver discussion has gone on ad nauseam and will go on for ever.

Somebody recently described it this way:

On a normal track with normal grip it's 50% driver and 50% car.

On a difficult track with less grip, etc. it's 60% driver and 40% car.

What do you guys think ?

all the cars are good and competitive, they can all win.

X-ray, losi, AE, yokomo, hpi, corrally, tamiya, etc. all the cars can win.

Driver skill and set up is what takes them to the A-main on most occasions.

70% driver 25% set up 5 % car

assumming you have a race car, and know how to set it up.

Well,
This depends on the driver and his/her ability to set up the car. The worse the driver is, the better can he/she needs. A one that don´t get tweaked after a hit, with realy good quality, so it don´t wear out so fast....
The most important, perhaps not the most fun though, is to practice, practice and practice. To learn the car. That´s why you see the same ones up at the podium. The car is like a wife. The better you know her, the less problem she gives you

I´m not sure you are right on any point there....
But it helps a lot if you have an Xray equipped with a Fantom motor, SMC batteries and electronics from Advnanced topped with a body from Protoform and shoes from Jaco or Sorex, depending on the weather.... No doubt! It does
