Default N00b with afew questions

hello everyone! just signed up here as it seems alot of people are very knowledgeable

Iv owned nitro off road cars for a good few years aswell as a mini-T with afew mods but recently got myself a cheap Losi XXXS just for drifting and bashing around carparks with friends

currently got a:

etronix photon 12T brushless motor + 60amp ESC combo
afew sets of 7.4v 4000Mah Zippy lipos (11.1v on the way )
locked rear diff

My current FDR is 7.15 (86spur and 22pinion) which seems to be pretty quick and can spin the wheels with my t-drifts no problems and with some reading 7-8 FDR seems about right for drifting ?

Me and my friends also have a very large carpark that we normally end up drag racing etc on. I was wondering if putting a 32pinion(4.92 FDR) to boost my topspeed right up would possibly cook my motor and esc? or will it be ok ?

One last question! my car can drift fine on big long bends but when im doing a tighter drift im having a problem with the front looking like it grips to much and spining the back around? just wondering whats the best ways to lower the grip on the front or raise it on the rear ?

thanks for any help

A drag race is over in a couple of seconds, this will be fine, if you are doing extended runs just keep an eye on temps just to be sure, but, you should not have any issues.
