Tamiya Rubber rims are supposed to be the right ones. The new pic on the website shows where the rim beds into the groove in the tire and the tuning tip shows trimming the inner lip inside the tire as a tuning aid.

For putting the foam insert on the tire: They want you to turn the tire inside out, then apply the foam to the tire in the and turn it back the right way out. The foam has a sticky side on it and it's peel and stick.

Thats a nice touch on the foams. I always had issues with the pit shimizu foams. Either they would have a hard spot from gluing them or they would bunch up if you didn't glue them

Definitely have to try these out.

How do these tires compare to the popular Shimizu tires on outdoor asphalt?

Check out the video down at the bottom of the web page on the F1 Tire section. That car is running on indoor asphalt and is absolutely on rails. Follow their guide for recommendation and try a set.

Oh Mr. Sweep USA, we need you!

These just went on sale this week, so, no clue other than the video.

FGX rims fit the same rubber tires made for the F201 and F104 rubber tire rim as we can see from the pics posted...and as I stated earlier

These tires fit perfectly on Tamiya rubber rims.
