@SweepRacingUSA,

Is there an easy way to tell V1 from V2 if we happen across them in our lhs?

Received the replacement tires from SweepUSA this week - thanks SweepRacingUSA!
Getting the new set of V2s was a painless process and with really fast response.

Both F&R V2 I received came with grey inserts and the tactile feel of the tires feel different from V1. Insert and tire install are the same (from V1). Will update as I run them - planned track visit this week.

@NutDriver; the packaging for the V2 I received were marked as "Rear SOFT V2" and "FR MED V2".

Can anyone give some input on the V2 tires on carpet? How do they compare with the Pits on low to med traction carpet?

I plan to run the tires on my vbc f1 over the weekend. I picked up super soft and soft rears, I also picked up soft and medium fronts. I'll check back I. After they have a few runs.

Avoid them, the v2 tires are better than their 1st efford b ut they are still far from a raceable tire in most conditions and when they do work they are not as good as the shimuza rubbers. If the plan is to have a cheap spec tires the pardus tires make a better control spec than these.

I finally got around to running my F1 for the first time. I ran a box stock VBC flash with the kit setup. The front end was really stiff so i'll be working on that in the next few weeks.

First day of running i put in 10 runs on Sweep Soft front and rear tires. The tires held up very well. I was putting full compound on the rear and i little less than half on the fronts. The inserts that come with the tire felt firm and full once mounted. They were on F104 foam wheels. The next set i'm mounting will be on exotek wheels. The tires held up nicely and the car wasnt doing anything strange. No traction roll issues either and we have a straight away that has a hard right at the end of it.

I'm going to check out the Sweep tires on Exotek wheels. I've been too lazy to check them but I'll have time to try them tomorrow.

We are under testings for pre-glued set. once we settle with compounds combination. we may introduce 4 tires per pack set.

Do you still recommend to trim the inner gluing lips off on new V2 rear tires please? Thanks.
