HMMM- Xray already can't keep up with the demand for their 2 bel cars.... I doubt throwing a shaft in there would make any difference.... this car is just way too balanced..... Incase you didn't notice cells keep getting heavier and electronics keep getting lighter.... I'm absolutely sure that this will make for some easy chassis balancing

Hi Guys,

Some of my friends had the chancce to take a close look on Martin and Juraj Hudy's car during the Friendship Race held in Austria.
It is not like the pictures you posted but similar to trf 415 design. The suspension parts looked to be the same.
They heard rumors that the new car will be introduced at the end of February but it is possible that they also introduce a conversion kit for FK (hope so I've just invested a lot in spare suspension parts : ).
However if you check the results of the race at http://www.erc-wrneudorf.com ("Endergebnis" link) you will see that there is some more development needed to make the new car better .

Is it that Hudy likes to run his batts on one side or they are going to have it this way permanently?

Cause that just defeats the purpose of the car.
Balance.

guys please read the article closely.... its not the car from teh worlds

most of it is the same but the battery/motor configuration is different

its like the tamiya/corally...

someone (worlds/european top xray driver) tried a couple of months ago a corally car (from someone else) on his home track and the car was faster than his xray... dissapointed he was

he didnt drove his own batteries and motor either... so with his stuff in it... the track record would be even better

so with the new xray will be better then ever, no doubt about that... and its great for the xray fans (not me)

you can buy a fk and since I think that they are only testing new parts which probably we will be available to buy seperate instead of a whole new car...unless xray comes out with a whole new car which I doubt....

First you got to get one they are out of stock so if any LHS has it your lucky. Word is that there will be more additions to the FK in the near future so it will wind up being add on improvements.

This is today's pic from the DHI race.

I am just assuming that if Jilles Groskamp was using a car with the current drive train layout one should have been able to see the spur gear from the side window.

Since no spur gear can be seen, maybe they are actually running a new car at this event with similar layout to the TAMIYA TRF 415.

Well, actually, I just put on my FK the Mazda 6 body and positioned my car at the same angle. I could not see my car's spur gear, so my previous post is completely incorrect!

well i can't see how you could manage that because the spur goes above the shock tower a bit....

and the ariel seems to be in a strange place..isn't it usually front left or front right..?

the proto type lowwered bulk heads will not fit the FK chassie . the mounting holes are farther apart.. So if the new stuff comes out it will not be a upgrade to the present FK kit
