I agree with you DJ, I'm sure the new Xray will be coming out to save our soul and pardon our sin from being slower than TRF415MS drivers J/K

So now we have 4 cars with an identical belt drive layout.

Tamiya 415 - Good but expensive.

Corally RDX - Good but expensive.

New X Ray - Good but expensive.

Schumacher Mi2 - Just as good as the above, and about half the price.

I know which one I'd go for.

Well John,
I see that like you personal opinion more than pure science.

Whatīs supprice me is that most people here seems to think its the way the batteries are placed. Itīs not. Thatīs easy ju tune and adjust. Therīs more to it....
By some strange reason, no-one have discussed the most important aspect
Didnīt you miss a bunch of other Japaneese cars as well?

its a pity nobody mentioned TECH RACING's MY-02. correct me if i'm wrong, but i think they were the first company to actually produce the two belt car with *that* layout. then tamiya used the design, but they actually gave due credit to tech racing.

They should. They did it as a consultant job for Tamiya.

Yes. I only mentioned the really popular ones that everybody knows about. But you are right. There are plenty of obscure ones with the same layout.

Do you have any pictures of the HPI prototype your boy ran before moving to X Ray ? Did Hara test it too?

Ok.

Anyway, I was glad to see some of the Xray guys used the long clamp to hold down the battery.
I really hate taping in the battery...

NO MORE T1FK. i ordered a t1 fk, and when i sent a email`to see what was happening i got the following response from the online store i put my advance order in with:

"sorry the FK kit has not arrived. I've talk to my supplier
and
they said there won't be anymore FK kit but a new revised Xray T1 FK05,
something like that. It has not been finalized yet and the kit will
come
with extra hopups. The price for the new kit has also gone up because
of
the EURO. It will be from $370-$395. "

EMAIL TWO:

" Well so far the date for the new FK
will
be mid February. As for the parts, they are still getting them in.
there
is a new pricelist coming out so I don't know the exact price just yet."
