First, sorry for my bad knowledge from english language.
Second, I don't read all the previous posts. so, if i don't say something new, please forgive me.

When I see all these pictures from the X-Ray's prototype, I remember me the European championship 2002 in Lostallo (Switzerland).

I could go in the pits to make photos for my website (thanks to the organisation for the press'pass) and could speak with many interesting persons. I spoke a very long time with Juraj Hudy, one of the most enthusiast person I met in this hobby. R/C cars are for him a passion, not a business.

Andreas Myberg was testing his version from the prototype for the future HPI Pro4... with a lay-down two-belts transmission and a battery on one side! A long time before the TRF415! Andreas didn't give me the autorisation to take picture, what I respected. But he was very friendly to me to take time to discuss a short time with me to explain me some details on his prototype. From what I remember me was his prototype a little bit different and much nicer from what we could see later on the net.

And when I see the X-Ray prototype, it's remember me the Andreas prototype. And the Myrberg brothers are now X-Ray top-driver...

Best regards,
Georges (a X-Ray fan since few time).

Nice you remember Andreas "baby". For sure it was a lay down design, but it was 4 batteries on the right side, and two on the left.

Yes, the photos on www.rczone.net show this configuration (4 on the right, 2 on the left). But at Lostallo, when I spoke with Andreas, I saw 6 cells on one side (I take many notes for my articles). But his chassis could offer many cells configuration, perhaps he was testing this configuration just when I came. His prototype made me a very good impression in the pits (very nice preparation and technical conception) and on the track.

Best regards.
Georges.

Itīs Myrberg. Not Myberg....

Iīm not sure what you mean by "them". This was Andreas own project, and it was supported by HPI Europe. The main idéa was to use the HPI prototype suspension and put a belt on it in order to avoid the torq steer. Worked great. But after the Nordic Championship, where he won easy, he was never allowed to race it again. Pity on such a sweet baby

Finally something were Jilles was looking for!!!
Sorry, the car has always been awesome outdoors
with rubber tires and indoor with foams.
But with rubber tires indoor....
Hm, think only the chassis layout and the bulkheads
have changed. Geometry seems to be the same??!!
Could be a problem......

Myrberg's baby is one of the best handling Tourers I have seen, and to those of you who haven't seen it, I'm gonna show you!

Notice the TC3 parts

Any clue on when this is supposed to be released, I need to know if I should get some FK's for sale. Thanks in advance, and I understand that it is just a prototype.

Is this why there is a shortage of Xray FKs? Are they getting the car into production?
