Somehow after seeing the car pic that was aparently a FK i dont think Anders Myrberg will be around again. Rick
i was talking about the Tamiya TA04-TRF version car that was their top of the line in 2002-2003, everyone who saw that said..."looks like they copied the Xray" , our local HobbyTown had one. prior to that TA04-TRF release the TA04 only shared the same belt drive design with the XRAY and with the TA04 being near all plastic and more of a Spec Class racing car.

so if the "TA04-TRF version" cars were actually out before the Xrays then you understand my how off it sounds when people snap to comment: that the new prototype Xray looks like they copied the 415. but i still beleive the Xray's were first between these two company's in the high end refinement of this design and Atlas beat them both

point is...none of the Atlas, Xray's or Tamiya 415 / TA04's are original designs. they are refined/redesigns of earlier cars.

I wonder where Impactplayr ran when the pics came up?
The car looks pretty good. The spur gear standing up in the middle of the car like a sawblade on the T1, EVO2, FK-cars looked awful, the cars was great to drive though as i had a T1 and Ev2

TC4??? the same car that everyoneis complaining about being too flexy?

The same car with diff gears that are unusable because they are too thick to assemble properly?

The same car that requires you to find extra shims to take up all of the slop?

Yep...worth every penny...

You get waht you pay for...

Before you flame back..

I currently have 2 TC4's and have owned an Xray T1, Evo2, and a T1R that has been converted to FK specs (plus a Warpspeed chassis)that I still currently have...

Nobody puts a gun to your head and forces you to upgrade or replace your Xrays....

i'm happy that they are continually looking for ways to improve the car. If they sat still and did nothing everyone would complain about that as well.

Have you gotten your replacement lower arms yet for the TC4? or when you break them are you going to hope that you get the upgradedpieces sinec they are doinga quiet rolout of the 'fixed' parts....

Xray prices may increase due to the weak state of the US dollar compared to the Euro but when the FK launched it was at the same price as the Evo2 FOC...people are paying a premium now becaue the popularity of the car was so overwhelming it left it in short supply.

to get a better gauge of how the base TC4 is priced vs Xray, then compare it to a T1R, and you'll still find the parts fit and finish onthe TC4 comes up severely lacking.

I enjoy running my TC4's nowthat the quirks have been dealt with....but it was an annoyance I never had to face with any of my Xray kits (including my Xb8 and M18)

What? You can't speak Greek?

Anyway, just reposted the pics, nothing new there.

And, personally, the whole interest in the prototype, is not about a new car coming into production, just that I like to see any type of new design coming out.

And when you hide it, it simply gets even more interesting!

Exactly. It would be cool to see them release something new and different from their other cars.

your all mad because i just saved 150.00 bucks and putting the smack down on you.

and for the car being to flexy???

how many TC3 have they came out with compared to x-ray, corally.. and yet its still shows up in the a-main in alot of races.
hhmmmmm

the price on tc4 didn't go up matter of fact its cheaper than the tc3... two arms for 5.00 oooooo yea it breaks easy >>> only if you don't know how to drive.

don't get me wrong i like the x-ray but why do we have to come out with a new car every 6 months??????????
