Maybe they all 3 copied the Kyosho Lazer 4wd offroad buggy design from 1990.

I guess MIchigan native James Reilly should sue Xray for copying his design too!!! Hes been running a side by side heavily miodded Xray for a year now I think. Servo on left, batteries almost to center line.

The TRF 415 is designed by Tech Racing, and it's far from original.
That layout is often used by small japanese manufacturers.
Just like shaping off the carbon fiber under the motor,
I thought Motek Racing started with it (with there conversion chassis for hpi's micro, a sleeve for the drivebelt).
Then K-models (kai) started to use that in there designs with the Trigger chassis.

The car is actually very narrow. You will notice it once you get to hold one in your hands.

exactly
How can you compare that Tamiya 414 to the current Xray, the Tamiya won the worlds the Xray has only won some insignificant races in the US and had loads of claims to fame on the outsides of the box's.

Also the 414 was out before Xray as a company was even making Corallys doh sorry Xrays.

Somehow after seeing the car pic that was aparently a FK i dont think Anders Myrberg will be around again. Rick

Before rumors start... So far the differences in the car are testing longer bulkheads there for making for a shorter top-deck, adjustable diff heights, kinda like a 12thscal setup... and some other things...

Only thing wrong with that car is it doesn't have foams and it's not in my pit right now.

Have you looked at the pictures. They are testing a whole new car with new drive train. It uses the same suspension but EVERYTHING else is different. We are not talking about the new bulkheads that all the factory guys are using.

And if you read the first post the thread is about a new prototype car that looks like the 415/RDX. Not about some prototype parts that you are talking about.

Anyone else notice the amount of weight added to the rear of the chassis
