Default Motor Questions????

When running a mod, 19t, stock motor what capacitors and diodes and how many should i use and how should i mount them.

In most all cases, it takes 3 diods.....however, most motors have them pre-mounted and you shouldn't have to worry.


Mount them neg to screw tab.....pos to screw tab.....pos to neg.

depends on motor, go to their website and do a search...

That would be 3 capacitors, not diodes.

You mean 3 capacitors.

That is the typical configuration though.

Capacitors
- Positive to Negative
- Positive to Screw Tab (or can)
- Negative to Screw Tab (or can)

Diodes
- Positive to Negative (be sure you have the + in the right place.)

where can you get the capacitors and diodes and what ones are they or how do i tell i have the right ones.

They should come with the motor or your ESC. Also be sure to read up on them , some dont like certain ones.

Scott Jason should have capacitors at the shop. The diode is the shrink wrapped thing attached to your GTX.
