Default Super Brain 969 Charger

Im just wondering if anyone knows if this charger is good for charging 3300 matched packs...even though it only charges at a max of 4.5 amps? Also, I have a integy equalizer tray..how long should I leave new cells on it?

i charged all my packs on that charger for like 6 months and had no problems, it does tend to overheat if u charge battery after battery with no time in between. as for the tray, im not sure, probably until the lights go out, but leave some charge in them if they are going to sit a while before u use them

ya i noticed it does overheat easy, so i put a fan on it now. when it overheats, will it just stop the charging process? i noticed it stop before when the pack was no where near charged, just wondering if this is why.

With regards to the tray, it has a cutoff of 0.9 volts per cell. That's 5.1 volts total on the pack. This is fine overnight but you need to harge it to about 80% for a NiMh. Also for the NiMh it should say somewhere on the tray not to leave them on for more than 10 minutes. I discharge my packs at 30 amps and then put them on they tray once they have cooled down. I use the tray only to discharge the cells individually, to the same voltage.

We did a snake racde not to long ago, and using the normal gearing I do for a real race I went 19 minutes on the single pack. No worries about run time.
