Default Can someone help me to identify this electric motor.

I lost the original box and someone tell me which motor exactly this is?

thanks,

I know it's originally a trinity motor and a 17.5

What else can you tell me about this one.

And if brand new how much is it worth?..

thanks
Tom

Looks like a Team Express-tuned 17.5 Epic D3. I think they go for about $80.00 new.

That is indeed a tuned Trinity piece, a Duo, and if its still in good shape its a very good motor for boosted racing.

Default thanks

thank you everyone.

I was just getting into electric and bought a few things as recommended by Robbie Dodge. Only got to drive my new 1/12 car for less than 3 hours total.
I have lost the original box and since I was new to electric and don't know exactly which motor it is.

Yes, I have looked at their website but they don't seem to have one listed exactly like this one?

Due to health issues and news about a new baby coming soon, I won't have time or money for this hobby.

I will be selling it in the for sale forum.

thanks again.

as stated above, it is an Express tuned duo 3, great motors, the reason there are none on the website because John has moved on to the newer reVtech motors is all, still a great motor!

more than likely if you bought it from mrh within the past 5 months its a duo 3 tuned by express. Take it to the shop, someone local might buy it and it would be cheaper than having to ship. Shipping prices suck.....

It's easy to tell. Duo 1 didn't have the easy timing adjustment. It only had 3 positions and you had to unscrew it from the back.

The black sorta wrinkle paint on the back, endbell, and 17.5 etching are a dead give away to a D3.
