I am also going through the same issues. I am running Duo1s and Team Powers 13.5s. Ive talked to everyone, tried the same set ups, roll outs and am still trying to figure out the issue. Good luck!

I would go for the D3 13.5. I have owned several of them, they are beast, Blinky or boosted.

Maxed timing is killing your torque, that's why it's a dog in the infield. Try running just a bit past center on the timing and gear for the straight.

ill have to give that a try... because its not the infield thats the really bad part of the track... you can really notice the slower speed on the strait away

Nemesis was a pre-Duo3 experiment that didn't take hold. It's a decent motor but not in the same league as the new Duo3 or Rev-Tech for Blinky,

I switched from the old Nemesis (blue can) to a Duo3 for 13.5 boosted 1S WGT and it is fast, very fast at a 65mm rollout. Much better than the Nemesis and I'm using the standard rotor that comes with it.

I recently received a RevTech 13.5 motor from the master, EA.

Must say that the RevTech is the next closest legal motor to my aging Duo 1 motors...that also came from EA.

A D3 or Revtech or Ballistic. Own all three and they are all competitive.

Default OMG!!!!

This last weekend our club made a big open track... i put in a Novak Ballistic and OMG, the car was a missle. So if you have a big open track i recommend a 13.5 ballistic... still trying to figure out one for a smaller and tighter track.
