190mm body discussion

What are you guys using?
I have only used the Mazda 6 & LTCR
And I shoo goo the front & then use battery tape to slow down the cracking

i use Blitz S5 . just a nice all round body.

I'm currently using the Blitz S5 also.

It's my first Blitz body and I have to say I'm impressed by the material it's made of. None of the cracking that my Protoform bodies would swiftly get around the wheelarches.

I find the S5 to be quite an aggressive "steering" body, would be interesting to hear any other users thoughts. The Blitz G35 looks like it may be a bit more of a "stability" shell, but I haven't tried one personally.

Protoform Mazdaspeed 6, P37R, and LTC-R... I use lightweight bodies since they tend to crack less than their standard weight counterparts. Save the shoe-goo for the small cracks, and retire bodies once tape is required.;)

oo want to try the blitz where are you guys ordering

I've been using the Protoform DNA1 or the Protoform R9R bodies, but only because I had a couple on hand. I also like to use the plastic drywall take with Shoe Goo to reinforce my bodies to help reduce cracking.

am currently using protoform LTC-R

I am currently using a HPI BMW M3 shell, with a racing spoiler on it, but if i want to do some serious racing, i have a spare East Coast half-painted mazda 6.

haven't really noticed a difference between them, apart from the bmw doesn't seem to handle crashes as good

Dude, you are making your life difficult trying to get an m3 to handle! Put on a lightweight Mazda speed 6, a decent set of sorex tyres and most of your setup problems are solved!

I already run sorex 24's on carpet, the spoiler is mainly there for show, the stock one didn't look right. the car seems to handle fine with my TA-06 carbon conversion, and i hardly race ever for competition, i got to a small club once a week. But as i said, if i want to race properly, i can just put on the mazda 6 shell and not having to worry about handling too much.
