I am at about 1450-1470g pending on body, rims and inserts.

I have alloy screws in most locations.

I have no plans to swap from my LRP ESC.

If I could drop another 80g and had a little more chassi flex to deal with less weight I think the car would still be competitive.

Composite dogbones with a spool in the front? they won't last long at all. Also the pics show the trackrod from the steering going to the battery side of the car not the servo side. Just a straight re-release, shame a few tweaks and it could of been made alot better.

100% right Conrad !!! They needed to find a losi type LCD to fit upfront with a spool or at least a steel diff with cvd's ! They always leave alot of work for the racer : that's associated !!!!

Why didn't AE re-release it with an updated chassis for lipo instead of the old chassis with the slots for sub-c?

Guessing they already have the molds.. another lipo chassis would be more for us to pay. Keeps the TC4.VTA cheap.. Exotek has probably just read this and are making one now...

BMI used to make one, it was one sexy chassis. Diggity Designs still makes one, it's nice

The tub chassis is fine with lipo's and balances out pretty well, if they had only made it the same width on each side, no stupid step after the servo then the chassis would flex the same left and right which would be great. Upgrading to metric screws would of been nice as well
