A friend of mine is hosting a top speed contest, should be a LOT of fun. Here's a link to his hobby shop's facebook page. I know this isn't TC racing (I've raced 17.5 TC and vintage, it's a blast) but if you guys have any ideas on how to make this competition better let me know! Does the class structure sound fair?

Nitro (all motors)
Electric: 3 cell max class, any motor
6 cell max class, any motor

That is not a bad looking set of rules, but have you guys checked out the ISC? Here is a link to a website where they discuss RC speed competition with the some of best in the world. Their rules are a bit different but they have several classes as well. Tons of good ideas and smart people to help you go faster.
