Need Help with ESC & Motor Choices
Hello Everyone,
I have a Team Associated TC4 kit I bought several years ago brand new, but I never got around to completely finishing it. Recently I gave it to my son to finish up. It needed an esc so I hastily ordered an LRP Ai Super reverse Digital without checking if it would work with brushed motors. I have already opened the packaging so I don't think I can send it back to RC Planet where I bought it. I already have two brushed motors I was going to use with this car, a Trinity Speed Gems Amber 17T and an LRP GT3 Turbo 17T. I also already have a radio system I wanted to use, the Futaba 2PL am Radio and R152JE receiver. So, my first question is will the LRP Ai Super Reverse Digital ESC work with brushed motors? And second, if not and I buy a brushless motor for this setup will it work with the Futaba Radio mentioned above? I don't know anything about brushless technology so any help would be greatly appreciated.
