Default Thin Foam for battery support

Hi Guys,

With a lot of the new touring cars that you need to tape your batteries in, they seem to still novel slightly.

I noticed on a guys Xray last night he had a piece of thin black foam that stops the battery moving and keeps it snug.

It was basically a thin piece of thin single sided foam that sticks to where the battery goes.

Does anyone know where I could get this from?

Regards
Nathan

I have a pack of similar stuff in a Kawada package, but you can get the same sort of stuff in craft shops. Self adhesive EVA foam is the typical name for it.

The Serpent 811Be uses a thin foam pad in each of the battery boxes and should be a little easier to get then Kawada parts. LOL.

Try Moleskin from a pharmacy. Used inside a shoe. Soft and forms around the battery to fill gaps between the batt and chassis.

Kawada SK15. But very hard to find. Craft shop would be my first port of call, even if you can't find the self adhesive version, most will sell just the foam for pennies per sheet.
