Thanks for the very informative reply ....but seriously i have done a search and heard of guys using the nexus sanding sticks so im gonna go with that but just seeing if anybody else wanted to share there secrets...lol

You just want to remove the center seam so the tires are more consistent from run #1. Don't sand the whole tire.

That's what I've heard. Never heard of anyone sanding the whole tire though. Personally, I use the track. After about a run the tire is at its best IMO.

theres a guy in the t3 2012 thread that swears by sanding the hole tire then using lighter fluid to clean it up ...he posted picks ...i dont think im gonna go to that extent buy the tire looks pretty slick in the picture

You can use 800 grit and a power sander to clean up a tyre that's been badly grained up

well nexus racing sells a sanding stick ...one side is 65 grit the other is 130 grit ....so im not sure if 800 grit will do the trick
