I don't remember what race this was. Bob O volunteered to marshall a lot. He even dives for cars at times. Might even get 'Carpet Toe' some day like the NFL players get.

Doug:
Were you using the wireless coverage or a cell connection? Just wondering how the setup we threw together worked. Once we find that router & repeater in scotty's office we should be able to get better coverage throughout the track, perhaps get another repeater so that we have coverage to the off road booth as well. The laserprinter lap times were great. I think we will have to keep it as part of the setup for all races, but I will take back my 17" lcd panel that was at tech, sorry. LOL. Great coverage. Did you notice that one of the snowbirds guys indicated that he has written a program for an automatic dump of a heat results to a website. Maybe you won't have to recreate the wheel.

I was so busy most of the time that I never had a chance to jump on the net and follow the race coverage while I was there. Next time I'll give it a try.

I still have not been able to locate a PDF of the complete mains with lap times. Hopefully, this will eventually be posted at RCTech main event page?? Someone mentioned something about too much bandwidth, but I would think it would be small as compared to posting pictures which seems to be fine.

Thanks to Scotty and crew for once again putting on a great race. Nathan & I had a great time. Good for the 13 year old to learn to never give up (he was so diappointed with his mini qualifying, then came up with a 2nd in the B out of the field of 11 (yup, there were 11 in the B).

Default DVD from Videos of USTCC race.

I know that several people were taking video of races on Sunday. If anyone has some good video, I would love to put it on DVD for everyone. I may regret this, but if those with video would like to get me a copy of their good stuff (in VHS or digital tape format), I will work at puttting it on DVD to share with those who would want it. Hopefully, I won't get 250 requests for a copy. If a whole bunch of people want a copy, perhaps we can get a DVD tree going (I'll make ten copies to give to people with computer capability to duplicate a DVD, those 10 can make copies to pass along to 10 people, etc.)

In the interest of keeping the thread on point, please do not indicate a desire for a copy yet.

If we can get video, I will post the availability and then you all can ask for a copy. The idea is that it would be a no profit deal, just pay for the cost of a DVD & mailing, perhaps via paypal.

PLEASE PM ME IF YOU HAVE VIDEO TO SHARE FOR THE DVD.

I just got done reading back through the thread. WOW Doug great job at keeping everyone up to speed. RC Scoring Pro is simply amazing. All the races ran smooth with very little problems and none were software related like what I hear from other races.
The information provided to the drivers at the race was great with printouts and the betabrite displays, thanks alot. Scotty and the crew put on one sweet show. Everyone was kept moving and everything was well prepared for, Way to go all of you.
