Well, let's add my experience with the Battery Manager to this thread.

Ever since I started using the original Kinetic discharger I never had a battery die on me again!

But with the new BatMan they're still working as if they're new. I have over 75 discharges on them and they're still as good as new or even better still.

On the cheapest GP3300's (2nd generation) I used to be able to pump in 3400 to 3500 into these cells according to my Novak Millenium charger (pre-BatMan).
But since using the BatMan this weekend at the 1:12 Euro's it was even in the range of 3700 to 3900! Not bad for the cheapest cells.

Good to see my experience matches the ones found here.

Can someone suggest an on-line store to buy this?

Thanks

Qwiglee try this link. I just purchased one from them. Total cost including shipping was around $109.00.

The shop in the link that you provided is backordered. I tried to order mine two weeks ago and after numerous unanswered emails, they finally got back to me last Friday stating that they are out of stock and will have more in a couple of weeks. Nice that they don't disable the buy button huh?

After my spintec has finished i have trayed my cells and it doesnt seem to equalise them as it says, im assuming its just a discharge to 5.1V and then it slowly drains them lower, i have my smart tray setup to 0.3v and a couple of the cells go out quickly and others take a minute or so.

Post berger...

Is there a reason why you equalize them @ .3Vs versus 0.0Vs? Are you saying that the Spintec is just a HOPPED UP DISCHARGER? I was planning on getting one. I got rid of my Smart Tray for similar reasons, although it equalizes cells to the pre-set value you set, IT DOESN'T HOLD THEM THERE UNTIL YOU'RE READY TO CHARGE THEM AGAIN. That's a HUGE drawback to me. Along with my Integy Zero 6S's, here's my set-up... -JB

Well yes and no, it still drains the batteries while it is plugged in which it says in the manual. I cant see how it can individually discharge cells with just two leads. What it does do is discharge the cells well and it seems to be very good at conditioning them while not adding any heat. Maybe someone else can comment on the equalising.. I was just using 0.3 because anything above that, several lights went out straight away.

Doesn't the Spintec give you voltage readings? If so, and since it keeps discharging your pack while still on the tray, leave it on for a few hours and take a look at the voltage reading then. If you take a pack of cells and equalized them @ .3V and take another set of cells and equalized them @0.0V, over both set of cells lifetime, your optimum potential of the cells that have been equalized at the lower voltage will be maximized. The key is getting your cells doen that low and 'holding' them there. HTH... - JB

So what are you saying, the lower voltage you equalise it at the better?
I cant see how the spintec can do a proper equalise without single cell discharging.
