Pretty much yes.

Erik gave the US distributor rights to Horizon, but Trinity wanted them, so, because Erik was unable to get the BatMan patented, Trinity brought out a very similar product of their own.

What even more funny is that Trinity also copied Yokomo Adjustable Body Mounts....LOL Makes me laugh because although I do not agree with there practices I can totally put me into there shoes, If I like something or need something but A) I can not afford or B) I can not get hold of it....THAT I either A) GO and find it somewhere else cheaper or B) Make one myself.

I sure hope the ICC comes PATENT PENDING.
It is business though.
Look at the guy who invented a Carburator that got like 56mpg in 1972......Shell Oil strong armed him into selling his design and took those designs and put them in lock down.
Why because they make more money when cars eat gas.......
The root of all this....GREED or in better terms THE LOVE OF MONEY.........
If Money is your number one concern than you are going to do some very shady things. Trinity is one of those kinds of companys there bottom line is what is most important NOT THE RACER AND OR THE HOBBY...
Thats where Erik and Spintec come in.
He and they are out to make the best product to A) Help racers get better use of the there very expensive battery packs and B) Coming up with a way to better proform with those said batteries.
This is what has set Erik/Spintec unto a higher level and is the reason why I will continue to support them with not only my wallet but with my voice.

Sorry got all preachy again but I am kind of upset......
Now if only Orion could make a better stock motor than the monster.....I have already started using the Atlas motor for 19T and the QM.....if it wern't for the Monster I wouldn't buy anything from Trinity...
END RANT

Funny, i never liked trinity either. Seems im not alone

Dont know why for sure, but always had the ideia they were a company more interested in selling then anything else.

Maybe because most of there products seem to be designed by the marketing department...

It would be nice to ear from the trinity clone buyers though. Im curious if they bothered to actually copy the engineering from spintec or just the looks.

Got every hopup for the 05 plus loads of bling bling, runs beautifully with a mod motor from 7T to 11T (personal favourite is a 9T with a 8.0:1 ratio) predict that this will be the car to beat in 2006 (In all EP TC catagories)

Opps ! I only got 8 packs every week but nevermind ! I'll volnteer to BM the packs of those kids I'm running with ! should get at least 16 to 18 cycles a weeks !

Got some new GP3700s. Three are Fusion and one is Fukuyama. They have all come in around 21.5-23.5.
