I wouldn't cycle anything, the only thing this achieves is wearing your cells out faster.
Maybe cycle them after storing them a long time, but even that I would not do.

Hebiki : just finished discharging all my 8 packs on the BATMAN after fully charging them up... man! its takes a minimum of 3 to 4 hours to completely discharge 1 pack, it took me a total of 3 days to cycle all my packs, (i do it only when i'm home from work)... and you do this every 3 to 4 uses? now that's dedication !

highwayman: i dont "cycle" my packs. i use them up in practice. then throw them on the batman. yah.. i have 10 packs i have to discharge after a 5 min run, so it takes awhile for that also.

... i must have mis-read your previous post... anyway, from now on i think that's what im going to be doing, leaving some charge on the pack after my 5 min run, then BATMAN them at home during them week ...

P.S. ... what if you want to charge a pack a 2nd time? should i batman them first before re-charging them?

if you want to charge a second time.. then let it rest 2-3 hours (normal battery recommendations) then you have two options.

1. batman it again (there should only be a small amount left) then charge
2. equalize it on a tray (smart tray, rayspeed, etc) then charge.

i bring my batteries down 0.0v. so after batman, if i was to use it a second time that day, i would throw it on my much more racing/integy zeroV tray until its ready to charge.

you guys are gonna think im crazy but i was curious so i fully charged a good pack of mine and put it on the batman, i let the batman bring it all the way down til it was finished. i did all this on sunday right after i got my batman. i just cycled that pack again to see if it changed, and the resistance lowered from 21 to 19.4 on my gfx and the voltage increased by .07 at 30 amps

im truely impressed with the batman, i was sceptical at first about purchasing it, but now im glad i did

I do this all the time to my race packs. I've got some crazy numbers for all my race packs. My 19T motor looks like it has some nitrous oxide. People were asking me, what turn is that in your car ? 12 turn ? " Sorry, 19T baby !! "
