What type of racing are you doing?
If you are runnign on carpet I would say get the CGM not the SSG.
Now from the owner of a YOKOMO And says part support is better and I can still put up better times with my SD than a T1FK, So realy it is all in how you drive and what type of racing.
If you run asphalt than either are good choices. I like the SG because it ahs been a breeze to set it up and I am fast with it. I have driven the T1FK and it is fast also I just like how the SD handles better. But then again we are talking a Shaft verses belt so it depends on what you prefer.
I would say go to your track and see what all the top guys are running and winning with and also see if they will let you try there cars and see what is right with your style. I would have never even bought my yokomo if I hadn't tried one first.
Just my two pennies,
Stephen <><
