yes! I said we would correct this in the future after the current projects are done, you said you would wait. I sent you the second set to try since it seemed to work "better" for us.We sent you the second set not because we dont understand the problem, we sent it to you to see how it worked on your end.

We are beta testing this products to weed out issues like this before they are sold to the public. All the feedback's from the beta testers are reviewed & addressed as necessary.if its something we can correct asap, we will. If not we will schedule the next prototype as soon as we have machine time available.

We clearly stated that we would like discussions on our beta testing done by email or Pm's for a reason. If you don't understand why we're doing that, feel free to let us know & we will give you a full refund as soon as possible. We respect you opinion, we just did not plan to do a publicly announced beta testing.

update for tc6 dcj's. here are some pics of the completed dcj kit including the prototype c hubs. We decided to go this route since we noticed serious draw backs from modifying the factory c hubs. The current prototype uses a bigger bearing (5x10x3) improving bearing reliability.

Trf416 417 & t3 dcjs work just fine without mods & using factory bearing

Been running the R1 axles for 2 testing days now
Very good work on the design and very solid work.
Shaved about 2 tenth of my fastest time of at my home track.
Good job R1
Looking forward to test your DCJ's

regards Roy

One really great thing ive found with running them in my mini, is purely easier maintenance.

The design doesn't allow dirt really to get stuck in the joint, not like the standard cvd, they go crunchy pretty quick once dirt gets in.

Also they have very easy access to check the pin and grub screw.

sorry for the late reply, been busy working on new products.

we made a big change on our dcj's, they will now come with a retainer clip to hold the pins in place.
DCJ'S will also now feature our proprietary Ceramic Coating.

we opted to add this features for the following.
-improved pin retention (dont have to worry about pins coming loose)
-improved tolerance
-almost zero backlash (improved acceleration, braking & a more direct feel compared to currently available dcj's in the market)
-dry lubrication (can be run without lube)
-ultra low friction (thanks to Ceramic technology)
-improved wear resistance

we could have finished sooner, but we decided to make a better product.

samples should be done by the end of the week.

we are also in the process of testing our new line of motors, that should be available soon.

sounds good,

Just found out another excellent thing about the mini cvd's.

you can actually remove the cvd without having to unbolt the knuckle from the c-hub, as they just squeeze through the oblong gap.

really saves time, and knowing that i dint have to remove the kingpins on the c-hub/knuckles, i know that while running they aren't going to fall out do to constant wrenching.

i have a T2R pro and would love to test the ECS drive shafts. The stock drive shafts throw the pins after a weekend of hard running. I live in New Jersey and Im planning on racing on asphalt this summer.

That sounds really good. Will you be doing beta testing for these as well? I would love to get some for my 416 or my tc6.

I ran with the R1wurks shafts and axles in my T3 at our nationals last weekend and finished 4th.

All I can say is that they are extremely light and durable! I can't wait to try DCJ's!
