steering exp? poll?...
this is a small poll sort of...
for those of you that own a high end radio. what servo do you use and where do you set your steering exp and speed? |
Touring car: KO PDS 2143, expo 0, full speed
1/12: Airtronics 94145Z, expo 0, full speed |
KO PS713, exp -10% (to make the car a little less responsive to corrections down the straight), speed full.
|
All classes: Sanwa ERG-XS, exp.=0, full speed.
|
KO 2173, expo=0, full speed
|
Airtronics 94755- exp -15%, speed forward & return -10
|
ah huh. i find the exp to really slow down initial turn in. there was a radio poll by hitec about the five best features in a high end radio and exp was almost always first or second on the list. i was just wondering if there was something that i didn't get. i've mine set about -10% like sosidge, but i'm running a 9402 which is a little slow at .10.
|
XRay: JR ds8417 servo, -7% expo
XXXT: KO 2143 servo, 0% expo |
JR4750...What, you can set steering expo and speed? When did this come about? LOL j/k Actually I set the servo speed on the radio to 0 (fastest, of course you can't make it go any faster than it can) and mostly just play with the dual rate.

Xray: KO 712, 40% exp
Atlas: KO 712, -10% exp |
40%?!?!?! I'd think that'd make it twitchy as hell
|
KO 2143, 2144, JR 8411, Air ERG WR -10 to -20 EXP
|
Futaba 9450
Steering curve: -8% 2 way speed: default Steering punch: default |
